Blue Mountain Pizza restaurant is a true treasure in the quaint town of Weaversville, NC just about 5 miles north of Asheville. Very friendly staff, and a great menu to choose from. We were absolutely delighted with our baked pasta dishes, pizza, and quesadilla. The salads were scrumptious as were the garlic rolls. We shared the cheesecake and cannolis for dessert and thoroughly enjoyed a very entertaining singer/ guitarist. The locals seemed very comfortable in this restaurant which is always a clear sign for travelers. Highly recommend this wonderful, affordable restaurant. Enjoy! from a March 2012 review posted on tripadvisor.com
Considered by many to be the best place to experience Western NC in the area. Great food, great live music and good time. http://wikimapia.org March 2009
This place is a mainstay in Weaverville. It's right on the Main Street strip. The pizza (and other fare) are excellent and they have a nice assortment of beers. The service is excellent, as long as it's not packed. They also often have live music. http://www.insiderpages.com/ Feb 2009
AWESOME! Picture this...lunch on a Patio overlooking a wonderful little town...smiles and waves from everyone walking by...a staff friendly and warm...freshly made hummus that is out of this world and pizza with zesty sauce, bubbly cheese and fresh toppings...yes, Virgina there is still amazing little establishments like this...it's called the Blue Mountain Pizza. I can't wait to get back!
"What Blue Mountain’s doing is not only delicious, it’s inspirational. Might a Chinese restaurant like to try its hand at Italian? Why shouldn’t an upscale restaurant fry up a few chickens? Here’s to Blue Mountain, for being at the forefront of edible experimentation and giving area diners a reason to pachanga." "Last night was pizza at Blue Mountain Pizza in Weaverville, NC. The boys ordered a Parrot Head pizza. This consisted of bacon, pineapple, and ham. The crust at Blue Mountain is crispy and the sauce is mildly sweet. This time I stuck with something simple, baked spaghetti. It was really yummy and baked to perfection with extra cheese. Their salads are really tasty with mixed greens, broccoli, cucumbers, and carrots. I am not a big fan of iceberg lettuce, so I really enjoyed the salad. Out of all of the joints, I enjoyed the atmosphere here. Buddy, Carol, and Jamie, a nice sounding folk band, played and entertained during dinner. So overall, I give Blue Mountain Pizza two thumbs up. It is a home-town experience." September 27th, 2007 Asheville Cabins

Blue Mountain, "has the feel of a neighborhood hangout, a place to meet your friends and have a good time....the milkshakes are the best I have had in Asheville...the menu vast...the pizza had a thin crust and was loaded down with toppings and was truly outstanding...the panini was one of the best I have ever had...and the potato salad was better than my Aunt Martha's and that is saying something." To the listeners of WOXL-96.5, the largest and best radio station in Western North Carolina, our appreciation for you voting Blue Mountain Pizza the number one pizza restaurant. You, our customers, are the best! 01/09/06
"the trendy place to eat in Weaverville", 08/05 Mountain Express
"Worth the trip to Weaverville, Blue Mountain's concrete floor and spare decor are a tasty contrast to visual clutter and loud noise in other pizza restaurants. Tables outside let you watch Main Street's foot traffic. Live music every night except Sunday. A thin crust puts a toasty, chewy bottom to these marvelous pizzas. The offerings are vast and deliciously named....Large vegetarian selection and beautiful stromboli and calzones. Good selection of beer and killer bottled root beer." Blue Mountain, a family friendly, neigborhood place to sit, relax, have some great food, a cold beer, listen to wonderful music, get up on stage for open mic night or just sit out on our front porch and enjoy the day. A place for the town of Weaverville and points north to call their own. Come with your family, friends or come alone and meet new neighbors.
Pizza, sandwiches, pasta and salads. The best cheesecake around and a nice selection of beer and wine. Our food is made fresh daily. Our dough is hand thrown per order.
Friendly, polite and attentive staff to make your visit enjoyable.
