Patrick Fitzsimons, born in Northern Ireland, now calls Asheville home can often be found at Blue Mountain Pizza playing fingerstyle blues, ragtime and other genres on an Epiphone archtop guitar through a tube amplifier. He'll have a foot on a tamourine and his mouth on a harmonica, singing all the while...

Barrie Howard has been entertaining audiences since Elvis was skinny.  He plays a comination of Boogie, Blues, and good time tunes,  many of them his own compositions.  Barrie is the trues ONE MAN BAND with classical guitar (sometimes banjo), harmonicas, kazoos, and his weapons of mass percussion.

I thought I would use this little section at the bottom of the music page to occasionally insert what I consider a great musical moment. They will not stay around forever and might be linked to a special or current event. For starters Patti LaBelle opening her PBS special many years ago.
